Dr. Dicello has helped many patients who have these cosmetic concerns by using a tooth-colored composite to fix chips and stains in the teeth caused by trauma.
You may also choose to have porcelain veneers to really put the "wow" into your smile.
Dental Implants
Yes! We offer a range of implant options to replace missing teeth. Dr. Dicello knows many patients wish to replace missing teeth with beautiful porcelain teeth but have been afraid of the costs or the thought of an unpleasant experience. Due to Dr. Dicello’s advanced education and training with dental implants and advances in dental implant science, Dr. Dicello is able to offer affordable dental implants to nearly everyone.
Dr. Dicello carefully examines each patient and discusses different options with them. All of our implant patients will be shown dental implant options on our 40-inch LCDs, which allow them to be a part of the planning process. Then Dr. Dicello uses digital x-rays and CT scans to plan a successful implant placement. Once an implant is placed, the artist-level building and ceramic layering of the implant crown begins. Along the way, patients can expect superb care, excellent communication, and most of all a beautiful, functional implant that will last for many years to come.
We know some patients haven’t been to the dentist in years and are interested in replacing all of their teeth with implants. We understand many of these patients are concerned with the cost and would just like to have a caring and likeable dentist to talk over options with.
If you’re a patient who would like to have an implant to replace a missing tooth or to make their denture fit better, give us a call today to schedule your personal consultation with Dr. Dicello!
Wisdom Teeth Removal
Yes! Dr. Dicello does almost all extractions in-house, including wisdom teeth without the need for a referral to a specialist. We know that most of our patients would prefer to have the dental care they need in the comfort and familiarity of their regular dental office with the team that they like, know, and trust.
Dr. Dicello began extracting wisdom teeth back in dental school, when he was fortunate enough to be accepted into an oral surgery clerkship. He further strengthened his third molar extraction skills during his years working for the Indian Health Service, where he had the opportunity to work alongside with and be mentored by several highly accomplished and skilled oral surgeons. As a result, he has safely and gently removed thousands of teeth over the course of his career.
After a tooth is removed, you still have the opportunity to replace it with a dental implant. It’s almost like you grew another tooth. If dental implants are not an option for you, we also offer fixed dental bridges and partial dentures so that you can eat and smile confidently.
Dr. Dicello practices a safe and conservative approach to extractions. If you think you are in need of an extraction, give us a call today for a consultation with the doctor.
Children's Dentistry
Yes! We see children of all ages and 95 percent of children can be seen in the office. Dr. Dicello has years of experience treating children, including patients with special needs. He previously worked as the Dental Director of a Children’s Dental Clinic, so he is extremely comfortable and confidant working with children. In addition, Dr. Dicello has three young children of his own, so he understands the importance of providing exceptionally gentle and compassionate care for the youngest patients.
Patients as young as one year old should have regular dental visits. During this time we’ll discuss strategies to help with brushing and answer questions from moms and dads.
Dr. Dicello understands the importance of building trust with fearful children by incorporating play and tell-show-do techniques and going at a slow pace to build trust so that children want to be patients for life. We want our pediatric patients to feel special and never fearful of coming to the dentist. Children at A Glowing Smile Dental Care are appreciated and loved for who they are.
We offer after school visits and doctor’s notes for kids who need to be seen during school hours. If you want your child to receive compassionate care with a great team, call our office today to schedule your child’s dental visit!
Teeth Whitening
After we brighten your smile, you can help keep your teeth white for longer by rinsing or brushing your teeth immediately after consuming stain-causing foods or drinks like tea, strawberries, beets, or coffee. So keep eating your delicious and colorful fruits, but brush or rinse afterwards to keep your teeth looking bright, white, and healthy.
While advertising toothpaste as “whitening” may be a good marketing tool, these toothpastes cannot truly offer a dramatic change in the color of your teeth. Some over-the-counter products can provide some improvement to the surface stains of your teeth, but may have little effect on the darker or deeper stains that can happen over time. Some whitening toothpastes also contain abrasives, which can mean sensitivity after regular use. The abrasives in whitening toothpaste may be too harsh for your teeth and ultimately do more damage than good.
A truly white smile can only be accomplished by bleaching your teeth with highly concentrated teeth whitening products under the supervision of an experienced dentist. We have both at our Peoria, AZ dental office. We welcome you to call and schedule a teeth whitening consultation with Dr. Dicello. He can go over our two types of whitening and help you make a decision that works best for you.
In-office teeth whitening - This provides you with great results in about an hour. Come in for your appointment and walk out with a whiter, brighter smile.
Take-home custom whitening trays - We design whitening trays that fit your teeth and bite perfectly. You will use a small dot of gel for each tooth and whiten your teeth each day for about two to three weeks. You can hold onto your trays for touch-up treatments in the future.
While everyone is different, some patients may experience slight sensitivity to the whitening agents. Shortening the length of time and frequency of use can lessen this sensitivity. Dr. Dicello is always available to address any concerns or questions you may have regarding tooth discomfort you may experience.
